Why didn't I think of that??

I have had trouble getting Zoe to sleep all of her life.  It has been a huge battle at our house, almost since she came home from the hospital.  The child just hates to go to sleep at night.  Only in the past year have we managed to get her out of our bed.  Tonight we had a major break through.  She has been spending a lot of time at Grannie's lately and Grannie suggested that we try her Ipod playlist for Zoe.  Shane went out and bought Zoe a stuffed animal that plays music from her Ipod (it is the white dog at the front of the picture).  We hooked it up tonight and she took it to bed.  She was only in bed for about 10 or 20 minutes before she was out.  It is amazing!  Wish we had thought about it a long time ago.  Here she is sound asleep....

  1. So cute! :) We have ipod speakers in John's room and used to play white noise for him to help him fall asleep. Not sure if it worked but at least we have something ready just in case! :) That doll is really cute too!

  2. It is good you figured it out now and not when she is 8 like we did! My daughter just turned 9 and we have just learned how to get her to sleep with minimal fuss.
